What alternatives are there for candles?

A fire damaged the bedroom of a local home. We removed the soot and the smell of smoke from the home. 

We love the smell of a fresh candle as much as anyone, but we have also seen many homes and businesses damaged when a candle flame catches nearby objects. If you want a little extra light or scent in a place like a foyer or bathroom where you won't be able to keep it in sight, try one of these safer candle alternatives.

This doesn't mean you can never have an open flame in your home, but to be safe, never leave candles burning unless you can watch them.
